Thank you for visiting my website. I would like take a moment of your time to tell you why I am running for the Gainesville City Commission in District 3.

I have attended many Gainesville City Commission meetings to discuss issues that are important to me and to talk on behalf of others about issues that are important to them. The one thing that has remained the same over the past few Gainesville City Commissions is that they have forgotten that they were elected by the people to serve the people. I have watched business owners like myself, physicians, eye care specialists, police officers and many other citizens speak to the commission about issues that are important to them. Each and every time the commissioners ignored the will of the people and put their own pet project above what, we the citizens, need and want. Many times the commissioners did not even listen to what the citizens the were saying, instead they were on Twitter, typing emails or some even left the room while a citizen was speaking. This is why I am running and as your commissioner, I will always welcome with an open mind your input on issues that are important to you and your family.

We have many tough problems to tackle in the near future and the citizens of Gainesville need to have a voice in the solutions. I hope to be your voice. I will bring the most important thing missing from the current Gainesville City Commission, the logic and common sense of a businessman and engineer.

So, on Tuesday, March 15th, I need your vote.
