Promote Jobs & Entrepreneurship

Businesses in Gainesville face regulatory overkill from commissioners who lack experience creating jobs in the private sector. I will eliminate this over-regulation and allow our community to grow in a way that creates jobs for everyone.

Protect People & Neighborhoods

Critical police and fire services have been cut by commissioners that see public safety as an amenity rather than a core service. I will fight to keep you safe and ensure these essential services are there to protect you and your property when you need them. I will also make sure development is compatible with our neighborhoods.

Stop Rate & Fee Increases

The City Commission uses GRU as their piggy bank to fund unnecessary projects, and to do so they raise rates again and AGAIN. These increases along with other fee hikes place extraordinary burdens on businesses and families during these tough economic times. I will reduce the cost of government for all of us.

Enhance Mobility & Transportation

The theory-driven plans of the City Commission actually increases congestion, kills businesses and harms the environment. Expensive lane reductions and road narrowing only diminishes our quality of life, and I will oppose all future constraints on our mobility.
